Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable, and appealing when displayed. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, line spacing, and letter spacing.

1. What is Typography?

Typography is the study and description of writing systems in terms of letter-forms and their arrangement. Typography includes the study: letter-forms and how they relate in a visually pleasing limb. It is impersonable as the arrangement and design of human ink.

3. What Is the Purpose of Typography on a Poster?

When designing a poster, there is more to do than decide on a typeface. Other paper properties must align to protect against the poster or logo being damaged, or to have the correct grip for hanging.
